Sustainable Development

In 2024, anticipating the launch of our new Plus machines, we took a significant step towards sustainability by reducing metallic components (screws and inserts) in our devices by approximately 60%. This choice not only simplifies end-of-life recycling but also significantly reduces the energy required for processing these materials, contributing to a leaner, more sustainable production chain. Every one of our medical devices is engineered with high-quality materials, designed for durability and to minimize waste.

Supply Chain

We prioritize partnerships with suppliers who adopt sustainable and ethical practices. We actively collaborate with our partners to jointly discover innovative solutions and improve both our environmental and social impact, ensuring responsible sourcing throughout our operations.

Packaging

We are dedicated to optimizing our product packaging, always striving for the ideal balance between quality, safety, and material efficiency. Our ongoing research focuses on low-impact packaging materials that are both recyclable and compostable.

For our packaging, we use 70-100% recycled cardboard, and we continuously explore innovative solutions to further reduce our environmental footprint.

Energy Consumption & Carbon Footprint

Our operations are powered by 100% renewable energy. The electricity we use comes entirely from sustainable sources. We consistently invest in improving energy efficiency across our facilities and maximize the utilization of green energy.

Responsible Waste Management

At MIR, we are committed to reducing waste generation and ensuring proper waste separation. We make sure materials are correctly sorted for effective recycling. We believe that every small action, like responsible waste management, contributes to a more sustainable future.
