MIR will attend the 30th edition of the SIMRI National Congress, which will take place in Rome from October 8 to 10, 2026. Organized by the Italian Society for Pediatric Respiratory Diseases (SIMRI), the event provides an opportunity to discuss the latest developments in the epidemiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases in children.
The educational programme will be structured around three parallel and integrated tracks: a hospital-based track focusing on more complex conditions, an outpatient track dedicated to the management of the respiratory conditions most commonly encountered in clinical practice, and an international track aimed at encouraging discussion with international experts on emerging topics in pediatric respiratory research.
Particular attention will also be given to new frontiers in precision medicine, artificial intelligence, telemedicine, advanced imaging and preventive strategies, promoting a multidisciplinary and multiprofessional approach to children’s respiratory health.
